Chelsea Clinton to hold SoulCycle fundraiser for Hillary
Chelsea Clinton is headlining a fundraiser for her mother’s presidential campaign at a SoulCycle in New York.
The former first daughter will burn calories with other riders at the trendy indoor biking chain’s Tribeca studio on Jan. 27, Politico reports.
A limited number of tickets are available for $500 or $1,000 contributions. Supporters who donate $2,700, meanwhile, become a member of “Chelsea’s pack,” replete with a “premium reserved bike” and a photograph with Chelsea Clinton. Bikers giving $5,000 also get an invitation for a future fundraiser featuring Hillary Clinton.
{mosads}SoulCycle classes typically cost $34 for 45 minutes of exercise, according to the report. “Senior master instructor” Laurie Cole, a celebrity spin instructor and friend of Chelsea Clinton, is guiding the event.
Chelsea Clinton previously hosted a SoulCycle fundraiser at the chain’s Tribeca studio in January 2010, according to Politico, for the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Haiti Relief Fund. Front-row bikes in the 90-minute class cost $1,000 each.
The Clinton family is increasing their visibility on the 2016 trail.
Former President Bill Clinton held his first solo events campaigning for his wife at two stops in New Hampshire Monday.
Chelsea Clinton is also stepping up her work for her mother. She’s attending two fundraisers in Boston on Jan. 11, according to reports. She is also scheduled to visit Iowa, New Hampshire and other early-voting states.
