Ex-NH gov: Trump’s been ‘a loser all his life’

Former New Hampshire Gov. John Sununu (R) is going after Donald Trump days before his state’s first-in-the-nation primary.

“He’s been a loser all his life,” Sununu, 76, told ABC News this week for an article published Friday.

He also hammered Trump’s business record.

{mosads}“He’s had four big bankruptcies. Trump Airlines went bankrupt, Trump Magazines shut down, Trump Steaks went out of business, and when he was the owner of New Jersey Generals, they also went out business,” Sununu said, citing Trump’s USFL team.

“This guy has a history of failure and losing. He’s a perpetual loser.”

It’s the latest salvo in a brewing feud between Trump and the former New Hampshire GOP chairman and chief of staff to ex-President George H.W. Bush.

Sununu had highlighted Trump’s second-place finish in the Iowa caucuses.

“I think Trump’s loss will remind people that the guy has a history of losses,” Sununu told The New York Times on Tuesday.

Trump responded, calling the remark a “ridiculous attack” during an interview earlier this week with ABC.

He’s also dismissed Sununu as a “loser.”

The billionaire is currently leading polls in the Granite State ahead of votes being cast on Tuesday.
