Poll: Hillary chips away at Sanders lead in NH
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is well ahead of rival Hillary Clinton in a new CNN/WMUR tracking poll released Sunday that showed a slightly tighter race.
{mosads}Sanders takes 58 percent of support among likely Democratic primary voters, compared with Clinton’s 35 percent.
Sanders dropped 3 percentage points from a similar tracking poll last week, while Clinton increased by 4 percent.
Sixty-six percent of likely Democratic primary voters say they think Sanders will win, compared with 21 percent who think Clinton will win.
The poll of 406 likely Democratic primary voters was conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center by telephone from Feb. 3-6. The margin of error is 4.9 percentage points.
