Trump: Clinton is ‘like a marshmallow’

Donald Trump on Wednesday mocked Hillary Clinton for cozying up to President Obama, saying she’s “like a marshmallow” and trying to avoid prosecution for mishandling classified information.

“Boy, did you ever see somebody so nice to the president?” Trump asked at a Christian Broadcast Network forum in Virginia.

{mosads}“Oh the president is wonderful, he’s great … you know why she’s doing that right? … I know why. Boy, oh boy, she’s become like a marshmallow … man, I tell you her life could not be so easy. But what she’s done is so wrong, so unfair. But it looks like she’ll be the nominee and nothing will happen.”

Trump said as president he’d instruct his attorney general to look into whether Clinton should be indicted for using a personal email account and server while secretary of State.

He said the Obama administration has not moved on the investigation because officials want to protect the Democratic presidential front-runner.

“I would instruct them to take a look at it because it’s not really our call to say indict, but you’d have to take a look at it,” he said. “I would instruct my attorney general to please look at it if there’s something there, and there seems to be a lot there. They’re protecting her because she’s the number-one runner.”
