Trump demands retraction of ‘misleading’ ads from Rubio Super PAC

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is calling for the retraction of “misleading” ads regarding Trump University that were produced by a super PAC supporting Marco Rubio.

The ads, released by Conservative Solutions PAC, features people who are part of a lawsuit against Trump University.

{mosads}Trump’s campaign said in a press release Monday that surveys completed by two of the three people in the ads show “overwhelming support for the school.”

“Trump University has a 98% approval rating and an “A” rating from the Better Business Bureau. New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman continues to waste taxpayer money trying to smear me, but the fact is that the overwhelming majority of students had a great experience,” Trump said in a statement.

“It’s a minor civil case I have not settled out of principle.”

Trump again called Rubio a “lightweight,” saying the candidate is “grasping at straws and produced terrible ads featuring three people who all provided written statements praising the program.”

He said in the statement that he’s demanding the “immediate retraction” of the ads.

“It just shows how low a failing campaign will go to help their failing candidate,” he said.
