Report: Trump campaign manager tussles with reporter
The campaign manager for GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, Corey Lewandowski, yanked a reporter out of the way after a press conference Tuesday night, Politico reported.
Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields was trying to ask Trump a question as he exited his Tuesday night press conference in Jupiter, Fla. Secret Service agents were starting to clear a path, the report said, when Lewandowski grabbed Fields’s arm, moving her out of the way and nearly knocking her to the ground.
Breitbart released a statement Wednesday morning condemning the “obviously unacceptable” altercation.
