Clinton: ‘I don’t have anything negative to say’ about Sanders

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Sunday said she didn’t have anything bad to say about rival Bernie Sanders.

“I don’t have anything negative to say about him,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union” in response to a question about whether she had doubts about a Sanders presidency.

{mosads}Even after the Vermont senator questioned whether Clinton was qualified to be president, Clinton said she would choose Sanders any day over Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas).

Clinton also touted her own record, saying people know she would be a president who’d follow through on her promises.

“I think people know that I will be a president who will follow through on what I’ve said. That’s why I’ve laid out plans,” she said.

“I want to knock down all the barriers that stand in the way of people getting ahead and staying ahead. I want to protect people’s rights. I want to protect our country. I want to unify our country, and I think I’m in a very good position to actually get that done.”
