Sanders: My tax returns won’t be a ‘big story’

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said in an interview Sunday that his tax returns won’t generate front-page headlines.

“Yes, we will get them out. There will be nothing there that will shock you,” the Vermont senator said on ABC’s “This Week” in response to a question about whether he plans to release his returns.

Sanders said his tax returns will be “fairly boring.” He added that his wife does their taxes, but she has been busy “doing a great job on the campaign.”

He said presidential rival Hilary Clinton’s campaign is raising the issue that he has not yet released his returns.
