Poll: Trump crushing Cruz by 27 points in California

Donald Trump commands a formidable 27-point lead in California over Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), according to a new poll.

Trump receives 49 percent to Cruz’s 22 percent in the Fox News survey released Friday.

{mosads}Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) ranks last with 20 percent ahead of California’s GOP presidential primary on June 7.

Fox News conducted its latest sampling of 583 likely GOP presidential primary voters in California from April 18-21. It has a margin of error of 4 points.

Trump leads Cruz by 15 points heading towards the Golden State’s voting contest, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average of polls.

His lead is much smaller nationwide, however, with Cruz trailing the Republican presidential front-runner by just below 10 points.
