Protesters greet Clinton at Calif. rally

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was met by protesters at a rally in East Los Angeles on Thursday.

{mosads}According to KTLA, hundreds of protesters, who appeared to be supporters of rival Bernie Sanders, showed up outside the rally. Several Hispanic groups reportedly organized demonstrations of the event, which fell on Cinco de Mayo.

CNN reported that at least five demonstrators made it inside the event, attempting to disrupt the former secretary of State’s speech with chanting and shouting.

“I think we would be a lot better off if we actually talked to each other instead of yelling at each other. Let the other side do the yelling,” Clinton said.

Perhaps because of the protests, Clinton wrapped up her speech in just 15 minutes.

The front-runner is leading Sanders by double digits in most California polls. The state, which has 475 delegates up for grabs, holds its primary on June 7.
