Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton is unlikely to be indicted over her private email system because she’s “totally protected” by President Obama.

Trump again spoke off the cuff, a departure from the brief stint of scripted speeches he gave after GOP blowback about his criticism of a federal judge’s heritage and in the immediate aftermath of the Orlando shooting.
He also said Clinton is following President Obama’s lead in responding to the attacks in Orlando over the weekend to avoid facing charges.
“That whole thing is ridiculous whats going on there. How that can happen in our country today is one of the great insults to law enforcement. She’s being protected, she’s being totally protected,” Trump said.
Clinton has been under continued fire for her exclusive use of a private email server while she was secretary of State. Clinton has said that she never sent or received information that was classified during that time, although some government agencies have since retroactively classified the information. She’s repeatedly stressed she did not break any laws and has guaranteed she would not be indicted.
