Trump both mocked him and called on him to stay in the presidential race earlier at a rally in Las Vegas.
“Crazy Bernie, he’s crazy as a bed bug, but, you know, he doesn’t quit,” Trump said during a rally at the Treasure Island Casino.
Trump insinuated that Sanders is staying in the race in hopes that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton gets indicted over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
In Phoenix, Trump again touted his victories in the primaries, joking about appearing on so many magazine covers that he feels like a model.
Trump on his celebrity: “I feel like a super model, but times ten. I’m on the cover of these magazines. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
