Trump: Clinton has ‘temperament of a loser’

Donald Trump said Wednesday that his temperament is better suited for the White House than that of Hillary Clinton.

“I don’t like her temperament,” the Republican presidential nominee said during a campaign rally in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. “My temperament’s going to win for us. It was always my strength.

“Her temperament is the temperament of a loser. I don’t like her temperament because she’s weak. We need somebody who knows how to win.”

{mosads}Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, earlier Wednesday chastised Trump for seemingly urging gun owners to take action against her at a rally on Tuesday.

“Yesterday we witnessed the latest in a long line of casual comments from Donald Trump that cross the line,” she said during a rally in Des Moines, Iowa.

“His casual cruelty to a Gold Star family, his casual suggestion that more countries should have nuclear weapons. And now his casual inciting of violence. Every single one of these incidents shows us that Donald Trump simply does not have the temperament to be commander in chief,” she said.

Trump said later Wednesday that the media is misrepresenting him, citing his remarks on the Second Amendment as an example.

“Look at the way they covered the story yesterday,” he said. “Was that disgusting? The media is rigged. It’s crooked as hell.

“The media is the biggest rigger of all. The media is unbelievably dishonest. I would actually say the media is almost as crooked as Crooked Hillary Clinton.”

Trump on Tuesday appeared to joke about gun owners taking action against Clinton and her possible Supreme Court appointments should she be elected president.

“By the way, if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks,” he said in Wilmington, N.C. “Though the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”

Trump’s critics have quickly pounced on the remarks, charging that they raised the potential for violence against Clinton.

Trump’s supporters have countered that he was merely calling for major gun owner support in the general election.
