A poll commissioned by the South Carolina Democratic Party shows GOP nominee Donald Trump in a dead heat with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
In a four-way match-up with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein, Trump and Clinton each have 39 percent.
In a two-way match-up, Trump leads Clinton 45 percent to 43 percent, in the traditionally red state.
But Trump adviser Jason Mille panned the poll in a tweet, noting it was commissioned by the state Democrat Party and saying the results “may as well be written in crayon.”
