Trump aware of Clinton’s medical episode: report

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was reportedly told about his Democratic rival having to leave the 9/11 memorial early, according to a Washington Post reporter.

{mosads}Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) was with the Republican nominee at the ceremony and told reporter Robert Costa that Trump was told about Clinton soon after she left the ceremony.

“It was actually Trump who told me what was going on. He leaned over & told me that ‘Hillary wasn’t feeling well.’ I said, ‘Really?'” Costa tweeted.

King said he ran into two patrolmen backstage, who told him “she lost her shoe and it didn’t look good.”

The Democratic nominee left the memorial early Sunday because she felt “overheated,” according to her campaign.

A video surfaced that showed her appearing to stumble into a black van with the help of aides as she departed. Aides later said she went to her daughter Chelsea Clinton’s apartment to rest.

As Clinton left the apartment, she commented on the “beautiful day” and said she was feeling great.

She then went back to her Chappaqua, N.Y., home.

When Trump was asked by an NBC News reporter as he was leaving the ceremony about Clinton’s health incident, he said he didn’t “know anything about it.”

The GOP nominee has yet to comment on the incident.
