Trump Jr.: ‘They’d be warming up the gas chamber’ if Trump acted like Clinton

Donald Trump’s son on Wednesday made an apparent reference to the Holocaust while slamming the media’s treatment of his father in a radio interview.

“The media has been her No. 1 surrogate in this. Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up,” Donald Trump Jr. said Wednesday, referring to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, on Philadelphia’s CBS radio affiliate, 1210 WPHT, as reported by BuzzFeed.

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, and his allies have long accused the media of unfair treatment. His campaign barred some media outlets from getting credentials to campaign events, and he typically calls out to the media during his rallies to criticize reporters.

Trump said Thursday he’s proud that he’s helped reduce Americans’ trust in media.
