Clinton defends Flint pastor who interrupted Trump

Hillary Clinton on Thursday defended the pastor from Flint, Mich., whom Donald Trump criticized as a “nervous wreck” for interrupting his speech.
 
Taking questions from reporters following her rally at Greensboro, N.C., the Democratic presidential nominee blasted Trump for lobbing insults instead of offering details on policy proposals.

On Wednesday, Trump delivered remarks at a church in Flint following his tour of the city, which has faced a water contamination crisis. the Rev. Faith Green-Timmons interrupted his speech and asked him to stay on message when he began to go after Clinton. 
 
In an interview on Fox News Thursday, Trump labeled her a “nervous wreck.” Clinton pushed back on his characterization, saying he’s “dead wrong.”
 
“Rev. Faith Green-Timmons is not a nervous wreck,” Clinton said. “She’s a rock for her community in trying times and she deserves better than that, Flint deserves better, and so does America.”
 
On Thursday, Clinton returned to the campaign trail after spending three days recovering from pneumonia. In her speech, she said the time away gave her a chance to reflect on why’s she’s running for president.
