Obama offers Clinton debate advice

President Obama is offering up some debate advice for Hillary Clinton ahead of Monday night’s showdown with Donald Trump.

{mosads}“Be yourself and explain what motivates you,” Obama said in an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” that was taped at the new National Museum of African American History. 

“I’ve gotten to know Hillary and seen her work — seen her in tough times and in good times. She’s in this for the right reasons.”

The first presidential debate will be held at Hofstra University in New York on Monday.

Clinton appears to be heading into the debate with a clear advantage in recent polls, several of which show that she is starting to regain her lead that she held until the last few weeks.
