Trump mocks Clinton for stumbling while sick with pneumonia

Donald Trump mocked Hillary Clinton for stumbling into a van after a visit to the 9/11 memorial in New York earlier this month when the Democratic presidential nominee was sick with pneumonia.

{mosads}At a Wednesday rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Trump touted his busy campaign schedule and knocked Clinton for making fewer appearances than him.

“I’ve been out from June 16, I’ve been out all the time,” Trump said. “You see all the days off that Hillary takes, day off, day off.”

Trump then brought up video that emerged from a Twitter user showing the Democratic nominee stumbling into a black van after saying she was “overheated” at the ceremony. Clinton’s campaign later announced she was diagnosed with pneumonia.

“All those days off and then she can’t even make it to her car,” Trump said. “Isn’t it tough?”

The real estate mogul also took a shot at Clinton’s campaign contributions and said that she runs ads instead of physically campaigning.

“You ever see her chart, she won’t be campaigning today. Day in and day out,” he said.

“In fairness she’s spending all of that Wall Street money on commercials …. where I’m doing it the old-fashioned way.”

Clinton appeared at a New Hampshire roundtable on college tuition with former primary rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) on Wednesday.

Trump has repeatedly called into question Clinton’s stamina and condition to serve as president. This prompted both nominees to eventually release more detailed medical notes from their personal doctors. Both letters said they were in good health to serve in the White House.

At Monday night’s heated debate, Clinton ripped Trump’s past comments about her stamina and fired off a litany of things she did while serving as secretary of State.

“Well, as soon as he travels to 112 countries and negotiates a peace deal, a cease-fire, a release of dissidents, an opening of new opportunity in nations around the world, or even spends 11 hours testifying in front of a congressional committee, he can talk to me about stamina,” she said.
