New Clinton video blasts Trump’s ‘insult-driven’ campaign

A new video from Democrat Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign slams Donald Trump for running an “insult-driven campaign,” highlighting many of the Republican presidential nominee’s controversial statements.

The video, titled “Avalanche of Insults,” begins with Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, rejecting Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine’s accusation during the vice presidential debate that Trump has run a campaign of insults.

During Tuesday night’s debate, Kaine hit Pence on Trump’s many controversial comments, saying it created an “insult-driven campaign.”

“He says ours is an insult-driven campaign? Did you all just hear that?” Pence responded.

“To be honest with you, [if] Donald Trump has said all the things that you said he said in the way you said he said them, he still wouldn’t have a fraction of the insults that Hillary Clinton leveled when she said that half of our supporters were a ‘basket of deplorables.’ “
