A man disrupted Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine’s campaign rally in Las Vegas late Thursday, loudly accusing former President Bill Clinton of rape before being ejected by security.
“Bill Clinton is a rapist,” he shouted three times. “It’s a media cover up. Infowars.com.”
{mosads}The man was wearing a T-shirt featuring Clinton’s face displayed above the word “rape.”
At least four men escorted the protester out, during which he repeated his accusation against the husband of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton twice more.
Kaine, who represents Virginia in the Senate, was addressing the United Brotherhood of Carpenters at their training center in Las Vegas.
Thursday’s outburst follows a similar incident during a live Fox News broadcast earlier this month.
An onlooker interrupted an Oct. 1 segment on the network’s “Fox & Friends” in Manhattan concerning a charity event for shelter pets.
The man appeared behind hosts Tucker Carlson, Abby Huntsman and Ed Henry, climbing a security railing and removing his outer shirt.
The onlooker was wearing a T-shirt bearing the same Clinton “rape” illustration as the man in Las Vegas.
Security removed the individual from the broadcast, but only after he yelled “Bill Clinton is a rapist” five times during a brief struggle.
“We’ve got a very excited young man behind us,” Carlson said as the man briefly returned to the shot before security stopped him.
Conservative radio host Alex Jones late last month offered up to $5,000 to any listener who called Clinton a rapist on national TV.
“Anyone that gets on national TV with the shirt clearly, for more than five seconds, gets $1,000,” he said on his Infowars radio show on Sept. 30.
“That means behind the cameras, you name it,” added Jones, who supports Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“Anyone that gets on air on national TV and gets the words out, ‘Bill Clinton is rapist,’ or things along that line, with a bullhorn — I could go to this right now, $5,000.”
Roger Stone, a former adviser to Trump’s campaign, reportedly designed the T-shirt worn in both incidents.
