Trump in fundraising email: I’ll make you proud
As a growing chorus of Republicans are calling for Donald Trump to leave the presidential race, the GOP nominee sent out a fundraising email Saturday assuring supporters he’d be debating Sunday night and would make them proud.
“I am ready to win. And I am ready to make you proud,” Trump said in the fundraising email, published on Twitter by the CEO of the Texas Tribune.

{mosads}Prominent Republicans, including at least five senators, are urging Trump to step down from the GOP presidential ticket and allow a more respectable candidate to replace him. They say they are outraged by the leaked recording of Trump making vulgar sexual comments about women.
Based on the fundraising email, their hopes for a Trump resignation are unlikely to come true.
Trump clearly stated he will be on stage in Sunday night’s debate against Hillary Clinton.
“Tomorrow night I am going on stage to fight for the American people,” Trump said in the email.
“Tomorrow’s debate is the most important night of this election,” he added. “So many voters are undecided, so many voters are starving for change.
“And tomorrow, we get the opportunity to show them that one campaign is offering a real opportunity for change.”
