Trump supporters interrupt rally with ‘CNN sucks’ chant

Donald Trump’s supporters interrupted his Monday night rally several times by breaking out into “CNN sucks!” chants as the GOP nominee continued to accuse the network of being biased against him.

Earlier in the rally, Trump panned the cable network as a “disgrace,” accusing the CNN camera operators on site of turning off their cameras when he asked the press to show the crowd.

Several journalists at the rally tweeted that CNN was in fact continuing to broadcast, despite what Trump said from the stage.

{mosads}As he often does, Trump called on the journalists covering the rally to turn their cameras around to show the crowd at the Wilkes-Barre, Pa., site.

“They don’t want us to win, they don’t show these crowds,” Trump said.

“They don’t want to do it, they keep that camera pinned to my face. … They are so dishonest.”

Immediately after, the crowd began to chant “CNN sucks!”

“I used to think they couldn’t … mechanically they didn’t move,” Trump added.

“But unfortunately when we had a protestor the first time, those cameras they turned like a pretzel.”

Trump repeatedly attacks CNN from the stump and on Twitter, calling the network an “arm of the Clinton campaign” on Twitter in September.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s former campaign manager, is an on-air contributor for CNN.

Katy Tur, a reporter with NBC News who follows the Trump campaign, noted earlier this month that the campaign has asked the television cameras to stay fixed on him to keep his teleprompter out of the picture.
