Donald Trump on Friday said he wasn’t “impressed” when he saw Hillary Clinton walk in front of him at Sunday’s presidential debate.
{mosads}”I’m standing at my podium and she walks in front of me. She walks in front of me, you know, and when she walked in front of me, believe me, I wasn’t impressed,” Trump told supporters at a Greensboro, N.C., rally to laughter.
“She walked in front of me, she takes a question, she walked back, no problem,” Trump said, adding that Clinton later accused him of invading her space.
Trump was referring to criticism that he “stalked” her during the debate, lurking behind her as she responded to questions.
Clinton told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that Trump was “really trying to dominate and then literally stalk me around the stage.”
“It was so odd because I’d go to talk to somebody and I would just feel this presence behind me, and you know, I thought, ‘Whoa, this is really weird.’ ”
