Trump attacks Ryan on Twitter ahead of Wisconsin rally

Donald Trump on Sunday attacked Speaker Paul Ryan on Twitter, just a day before he’s scheduled to campaign in the Wisconsin Republican’s home state.

{mosads}“The Democrats have a corrupt political machine pushing crooked Hillary Clinton. We have Paul Ryan, always fighting the Republican nominee!” Trump wrote.

“Paul Ryan, a man who doesn’t know how to win (including failed run four years ago), must start focusing on the budget, military, vets etc.,” he added in another tweet.

He added a third tweet a little later Sunday, attacking Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton over the WikiLeaks emails at the same time.

In the wake of a 2005 video surfacing earlier this month showing Trump bragging about kissing and groping women without consent, Ryan announced that he would no longer campaign for Trump or defend him, though he has stood by his endorsement of the embattled GOP nominee.

And amid the fallout of a number of women coming forward to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct in the past, Ryan has done his best to distance himself from the mogul by refusing to mention him.

Trump has a rally scheduled in Green Bay, Wis., on Monday. Ryan is not expected to attend.
