Paul Ryan heading to Iowa
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) will return to Iowa for the first time since the 2012 campaign, a move sure to stoke speculation about whether he’ll run for president in 2016.
{mosads}Ryan will headline Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad’s (R) annual birthday fundraiser, Branstad tells the National Review.
“He’s a key player in the House, and I like him a lot,” Branstad said. “I enjoyed campaigning with him last year. He’s a good guy.“
Last year’s headliner was Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).
