RNC raises $8m in June

{mosads}Ninety-eight percent of donors gave $200 or less to the committee, typically an indication of strong grassroots support for the party’s efforts.

And the $8 million marks a significant increase from this same time last cycle, in June 2011, when the committee raised nearly $6.7 million.

The Democratic National Committee has not yet released its June fundraising numbers, but the RNC has outraised its Democratic counterpart every month this year so far, despite President Obama pitching in a helping hand with fundraising.
