Huckabee mulling 2016 presidential run

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) is considering a run for president in 2016.

Huckabee, the runner-up for the 2008 GOP nomination, tells The Christian Broadcasting Network that he is “absolutely” thinking about another run for the White House.

“Yeah, no hesitancy to say, for sure,” he says. “Does that mean I will? I don’t know. Does that mean I won’t? I don’t know. But am I thinking about it? Am I talking to people about it? Yeah, that would be fair to say.”

Huckabee had strong support from religious conservatives in 2008, and could be a force in early-voting states like Iowa, where he won the caucuses in 2008.
