NRSC raises $4.6 million in January

The National Republican Senatorial Committee raised $4.6 million in January, its third-best haul for the month in the past decade and the best monthly showing so far this cycle.

{mosads}According to a committee aide, the NRSC had over $10 million cash on hand and no debt at the end of last month.

Its Democratic counterpart has not yet released its January fundraising haul, but at the end of December, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee had $12 million cash on hand but $3.75 million debt.

The DSCC largely outraised the NRSC last year, but Republicans slightly edged the Democrats in December, taking in $4.02 million to the DSCC’s $4 million.
