A super-PAC is launching to support Georgia Senate candidate Michelle Nunn (D).
{mosads}Georgians Together is being run by Keith Mason, a former chief of staff to former Georgia Gov. Zell Miller (D) and former board member of Hands On Atlanta, a volunteer organization Nunn used to run.
The organization will likely help support Nunn on the air in what increasingly looks to be a competitive race. She’s running unopposed, while a crowded field of Republicans are battling it out to face her in the fall.
Mason also works at McKenna, Long & Aldridge, an international law firm that employs a number of top Democratic power players including Gordon Giffin, Nunn’s campaign chairman.
Nunn, the daughter of former Sen. Sam Nunn (D-Ga.), is running for retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss’s (D-Ga.) seat.
