Amy Poehler fundraising for Al Franken
Comedienne and TV star Amy Poehler is hosting a fundraiser for Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.).
{mosads}Franken’s campaign is raffling off a chance to fly to Los Angeles to meet him and his fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum, with small donations entering supporters into the prize drawing for the April 24 event.
His campaign emailed supporters Thursday morning to announce the raffle.
It’s not the first time Poehler has gotten involved in politics — her “Parks and Recreation” character is obsessed with Vice President Biden.
