Senate Dem campaign arm tops Republicans
The Senate Democrats’ campaign arm outraised its Republican rivals in October by about $1.5 million, according to figures released by the group Friday.
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee brought in $3.8 million compared to the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s $2.3 million.

The fundraising jockeying comes as parties begin to shore up the 2016 fight for the Senate. Democrats need to flip just five seats for outright control of the body, four if the party holds the White House, and the majority of tight races involve Republican incumbents.
