DSCC names political director for 2014 cycle
{mosads}Caprara previously served as deputy political director at the DSCC during the 2012 cycle, and has experience from House campaigns and as a member of the team at Emily’s List, a group working to elect Democratic women to office.
“Anne is a rising star in the Democratic Party, and I’m pleased that she is returning as a member of our team for the 2014 cycle,” said Guy Cecil, executive director of the DSCC, in a statement.
“We know the challenges that we face this time around and it’s not going to be easy – but battle tested talent like Anne who knows what it takes to build strong campaigns will be one of the reasons we hold the Senate.”
The committee previously announced most of its 2014 staff, which included a handful of promotions and some new hires.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee announced Ward Baker, who formerly worked on GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s campaign, as its political director.
