Blunt, Kander tied in Missouri Senate race

GOP incumbent Sen. Roy Blunt is tied with his Democratic challenger, Jason Kander, in their closely watched Missouri race, a new poll released Wednesday shows.

{mosads}Blunt and the Missouri secretary of state are tied at 45 percent, according to the Emerson College Poll.

The two men also have very similar favorability vs. unfavorability numbers, with Kander 6 points in the red and Blunt at minus-5.

The race is considered a toss-up as Republicans look to maintain control of the Senate.

The poll was conducted from Oct. 28 to 31 among 650 likely general election voters and has a margin of error of 3.8 percentage points.

A RealClearPolitics polling average gives Blunt a slim lead over Kander, 46.3 percent to 45.7 percent.
