CNN polls find tight Senate races in Fla., Pa., Nev.

Senate races in Nevada, Florida and Pennsylvania are extremely tight in the last days before election, according to a series of CNN/ORC polls released Wednesday.

{mosads}In Florida, Sen. Marco Rubio (R) has just a 1-point lead over challenger Rep. Patrick Murphy (D), 49 percent to 48 percent, after leading by an average of nearly 6 points last week, according to RealClearPolitics. Rubio still holds an average lead of 4.4 points.

Rep. Joe Heck (R-Nev.) has reclaimed a slim lead over Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto in the back-and-forth race to replace retiring Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid. Heck is leading 49 percent to 47 percent.

Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) is still lagging behind his Democratic challenger, Katie McGinty, by 5 points, which roughly aligns with his standing in the RealClearPolitics average.

And in Arizona, Sen. John McCain (R) is holding on to his commanding double-digit lead over Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D), outpacing her 52 percent to 39 percent.

The polls were conducted from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1. Results are based on interviews with 867 registered voters and 769 likely voters in Arizona, 884 registered voters and 773 likely voters in Florida, 860 registered voters and 790 likely voters in Nevada and 917 registered voters and 799 likely voters in Pennsylvania.

Results among each state’s likely voters have a margin of sampling error 3.5 percentage points.
