Rubio makes fun of Obama teleprompter

Those on the right have long mocked Obama’s use
of a teleprompter, saying that he uses it as a crutch to artificially
enhance his public speaking ability.

Rubio was speaking in front of a teleprompter, but it’s not clear whether he was using it.

At the National Tea Party Convention, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) used the teleprompter meme to denigrate Obama and prop up the conservative grassroots movement.

“The Tea Party is not a top-down operation; it’s a ground-up call to
action forcing both parties to change the ways they’re doing business,”
she said, adding that it’s bigger than any “charismatic guy with a
teleprompter.”

Rubio appears to have cribbed his jab about the economy from Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-Kan.), who tweeted last week that the absence of votes in the House due to heavy snow was a plus for taxpayers.
