Obama golfs — with no wedding problems

President Obama golfed in Hawaii for the second day in a row — and without having a wedding moved.

Obama golfed with a group of three high school friends he reconnects with every winter: Bobby Titcomb, Greg Orme and Mike Ramos.

{mosads}The three are friends from Obama’s time in high school. The president reportedly reconnected with them about 10 years ago, and they have become a regular fixture on his annual trip back to Hawaii.

On Sunday, two Army officers had had to move their wedding from a golf course after Obama scheduled a round there. The president later called to apologize to the couple and congratulate them.

News of the wedding’s move was widely reported. 

In addition to the three friends, Obama’s golf partners during the trip have included White House aides and the prime minister of Malaysia. He has golfed several times over the course of the trip at a number of different courses.
