CNN’s Don Lemon says ‘bull—-‘ on air
CNN anchor Don Lemon said the word “bullshit” on air Tuesday and quickly apologized.
The slip-up happened while he was reading comments from Fox News host Bill O’Reilly responding to a liberal magazine that’s questioned his war reporting.
“I want to get this, it’s from Mediaite: he says it’s total bullshit. BS, excuse me, total BS. Pardon me, I did not mean for that to come out,” Lemon said.
“Apologies for using that word, it’ll never happen again. It was just a slip of the tongue,” he added.
O’Reilly had used the profanity to describe a story published by Mother Jones magazine suggesting that he had misrepresented his experiences covering combat to enhance his credibility.
