Orioles cancel game amid violence
The Baltimore Orioles cancelled their Monday night baseball game against the visiting Chicago White Sox amid clashes between police and young people in Baltimore.
After consultation with Baltimore City Police Department, tonight’s game between the Orioles & White Sox at Oriole Park has been postponed.

The clashes began earlier in the afternoon between police officers and people angry about the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year old black man. Gray was fatally injured while in police custody.
{mosads}Police officers clad in riot gear were hit with rocks and bottles thrown by individuals, who some outlets reported were young people. The police said seven officers had been injured.
Gray was laid to rest Monday.
On Saturday night, fans were kept in the Orioles’ stadium after some protests turned violent.
