Former President Barack Obama is in Boston Sunday evening to accept the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award on the 100th anniversary of Kennedy’s birth.
{mosads}Caroline Kennedy, Kennedy’s daughter, and her son, Jack Schlossberg, will present the award to the 44th president, who will speak to the gathered crowd.
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation began giving the annual award in 1989 to commemorate Kennedy’s birthday.
Obama joins former Presidents George H.W. Bush and Gerald R. Ford in receiving the honor.
