Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) on Saturday said that Hillary Clinton needs to “get over herself” and stop blaming others for her election loss.
“Hillary needs to get over herself and quit blaming everybody,” Huckabee said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”
Huckabee, noting that he also twice ran unsuccessfully for president, joked that Clinton would soon record an album of “excuses” for her election loss.
“I don’t know if you know this, but she’s going to Nashville. She’s recording a new album, ‘Hillary’s greatest hits of one thousand and one excuses why twice I wasn’t elected president.’”

Huckabee’s comments come several days after Clinton blasted the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC), saying she “inherited nothing” once she became the party’s nominee.
“I mean, it was bankrupt. It was on the verge of insolvency. Its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong,” Clinton said at a Wednesday conference. “I had to inject money into it.”
Huckabee argued during his television appearance that the outcome of the election was determined by the candidate, not the staff working for the individual.
“Ultimately the candidate wins and the candidate loses,” he said.
“And when you lose, you don’t look around at all the people that worked their tails off helping you and blame them. You thank them and you blame yourself. You dust yourself off and move on.”
