Haley touts cuts to UN peacekeeping funds
U.S. Ambassador the United Nations Nikki Haley tweeted out a message celebrating cutting funds to U.N. peacekeeping missions that left many on social media bewildered.
“Just 5 months into our time here, we’ve cut over half a billion [dollars] from the UN peacekeeping budget and we’re only getting started,” Haley tweeted.

The U.N. bashed President Trump for reportedly considering a $1 billion cut to U.N. funding, saying it would make the group’s work impossible.
