Ann Coulter: Trump can’t blame Congress if he fails to build wall

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, who has demanded that President Trump hold to his hardline immigration positions, said Tuesday that he cannot blame Congress if he fails to build a border wall with Mexico.

Coulter’s tweet came after White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders gave a briefing in which she repeatedly blamed Congress for inaction on the president’s agenda.

The same day that the Trump administration announced it was halting the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Coulter scolded the White House spokeswoman for calling for Congress to pass a legislative version of the program.

Coulter, who fervently backed Trump in the election, has since become a vocal critic when she suspects him of backing away from his promises.
