Rescue efforts underway after F-16 crashes in Arizona
Rescue efforts are now underway for the pilot of an F-16 Fighting Falcon that crashed on Tuesday, ABC 15 Arizona reports.
The Air Force is now investigating the crash, which occurred around 3 p.m. local time near the town of Safford, Ariz. The plane was part of the Air National Guard’s 162nd wing.
{mosads}Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) tweeted about the crash Tuesday. “Closely monitoring the F-16 crash in Arizona as search and rescue efforts continue,” he wrote.
