Sanders hits Trump over DNC tweet: ‘Do your job’
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) told President Trump to “do your job” on Friday after Trump chimed in on a fresh controversy over the 2016 Democratic primary.
“We won’t be distracted from your efforts to give billionaires tax cuts, take health care from millions and deny climate change. Do your job,” Sanders tweeted in response to an earlier tweet by Trump.

Sanders’s tweet came in reply to Trump’s earlier one blaming Hillary Clinton’s campaign for having “bought the [Democratic National Committee] & then stole the Democratic Primary from Crazy Bernie!”
The real story on Collusion is in Donna B’s new book. Crooked Hillary bought the DNC & then stole the Democratic Primary from Crazy Bernie!

Trump was referring to recent allegations brought by prominent Democrats that the DNC preferred Clinton’s campaign to Sanders’s in 2016. Donna Brazile, a former chairwoman for the DNC, says in a new book that a deal was struck to effectively give the Clinton campaign control of the party’s finances before she became the official Democratic nominee for president.
The topic was already a contentious one among Democrats who think Sanders would have been a better candidate than Clinton.
