A former spokesman for Vice President Pence on Friday fired back at Rosie O’Donnell for calling Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) a liar.
“Who is Rosie O’Donnell to call anyone a liar?” Marc Lotter said on Fox News. “She promised the American people she’d move to Canada if President Trump got elected and she’s still here.”
On Thursday, O’Donnell called Scalise a “f—— liar” after he tweeted that the GOP tax plan was a “huge win” for American families.

Scalise responded directly to O’Donnell’s tweet, saying “Bless your heart!”

“I give Representative Scalise a lot of credit for taking the high road and responding how he did,” Lotter said Friday.
O’Donnell has been a vocal critic of Trump and the GOP, publicly trading insults with the president since the start of his campaign and leading an anti-Trump rally at the White House in February.
Asked on Twitter after multiple Trump victories in GOP primaries in the spring of 2016 if she had her “bags packed yet,” the former “The View” host said she would “never” leave the U.S.
LISTEN UP WASTED TRUMPERS – I AM NEVER LEAVING THE USA – AND HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT – HE IS A MORON – WE ALL SEE https://t.co/aAXIOiqUrx
