Conan O’Brien jokes: Trump is calling Black Friday the most ungrateful of all Fridays
Late-night host Conan O’Brien joked Friday that President Trump was being “ungrateful” on Black Friday after the president tweeted to say that he turned down a magazine award.
“Trump is already tweeting that Black Friday is the most ungrateful of all the Fridays,” O’Brien tweeted on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving that kicks off the holiday shopping season.

Trump claimed earlier Friday that he turned down Time’s “Person of the Year” award after the magazine said they would “probably” give him the honor, a claim that the magazine disputes.

O’Brien has been among a number of late-night hosts to take aim at the president.
The comedian previously tweeted that the president did not pardon the entire turkey at the annual White House Thanksgiving turkey pardon this week, but “just the white meat.”

Trump quipped during the event that he tried to revoke former President Obama’s previous pardons of turkeys, referencing his administration’s work to overturn many of his predecessor’s major policies.
