Texas man threatened attack on NFL playoff game: report
A Texas man was arrested after allegedly sending multiple threats saying he planned to carry out a mass shooting at Sunday’s NFL playoff game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Pittsburgh Steelers, ABC 12 in San Antonio reported.
Yuttana Choochongkol, 30, allegedly sent a threat to a Pittsburgh TV station and the director of security at Heinz Field, where Sunday’s game is being played, according to the news outlet.
In the messages, Choochongkol allegedly threatened to kill Steelers players and fans before taking his own life, it added.
An affidavit reportedly said authorities traced an IP address used in the treats to a location in San Antonio.
Choochongkol was charged with making a terroristic threat to the public, according to ABC 12.
