Kimmel to Hannity amid feud: If only Congress got along as well as us
Late night television host Jimmy Kimmel jokingly remarked Saturday that he wished Congress would get along as well as he does with Sean Hannity after a days-long Twitter feud with the Fox News host.
Hannity, who swiped at Kimmel over his impression of first lady Melania Trump on ABC’s “The Jimmy Kimmel Show,” vowed Friday he would continue to expose Kimmel as a “pig, pervert and racist.”

“Sounds like a win-win. If only Congress could get along as well as you and I do. Goodnight sweet Sean,” Kimmel tweeted in response.

In a series of tweets, the conservative TV and radio host repeatedly accused the ABC star of being a “Harvey Weinstein Jr.,” in reference to Kimmel’s previous hosting gig for the comedy series “The Man Show,” that parodied chauvinistic behavior.
Hannity, one of the most vocal Trump supporters on prime-time, lashed out at Kimmel for his impression of the first lady, including her Slovenian accent, during the White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll.
Kimmel frequently touches on national politics on his show, including a number of episodes last year in which he urged Congress to protect the Affordable Care Act, citing the lifesaving medical procedures provided to his son under the system.
