The two were scheduled to speak on Tuesday night at the Smart Financial Center outside of Houston.
The two recently embarked on a 13-date arena tour to reflect on their political careers and discuss their experiences.
The Clintons’ scheduling announcement came a day after former first lady Michelle Obama said that she would reschedule her upcoming book tour stops in Paris and Berlin in order to attend services for Bush.
Bush died on Friday at his home in Houston. He was 94.
His remains arrived in Washington, D.C., on Monday, and he will lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda from Monday evening through Wednesday morning.
President Trump declared a national day of mourning for Wednesday, when a service will be held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
Bush’s remains will then be transported back to Houston for a funeral service there. He will be buried next to his late wife, Barbara Bush, and his daughter Robin Bush at his presidential library and museum at Texas A&M University.
